There could be a major breakthrough in therapy for children with Cerebral Palsy.
Don Morgan, professor of health and human performance at MTSU in Tennessee, is testing a method that uses an underwater treadmill.  The treadmill is designed to help youngsters gain greater strength in their lower extremities, lessen their level of fatigue, and raise mobility.
Victoria Gibbs is a little girl who is undergoing the 10 week therapy.  Her grandmother says her endurance has improved and it's giving the family hope. 
This is one of the few studies in the world that uses this type of therapy. 
It is funded by grants from the National Institutes of Health.

Elementary student, Jaylin Fuller, is undergoing therapy in the pool.  His grandmother says she is thrilled that this particular therapy has strengthened Jaylin's legs.
