Launched in 2008, this site is dedicated to bringing people and professionals together in the quest to find therapies to treat Cerebral Palsy. CP Discovery isn't created to diagnose or give medical advice. While we have many professional contributors, we want to make it clear that each therapy or solution is a personal choice. A choice you should discuss with your own family and personal health care provider.
Our sole purpose at CP Discovery is to provide information, links, and video on a variety of different treatments. Also, to create open discussions on traditional and alternative therapies.
Our hope is that it will give you the information needed to develop a therapy plan for yourself, a child, or someone you love. As members of our 'community', we encourage you to share your own stories of hope, as well as, your triumphs, and frustrations.

About the Founders: Hulet Smith & Michael Price
Biography: Hulet Smith, OTR/L, MBA
Hulet is the cofounder and COO (Chief Operational Officer) for Rehabmart.com and CPdiscovery.com He spends his time managing the operations for Rehabmart and practicing as a pediatric Occupational Therapist. He is married to Megan, a pediatric Physical Therapist and they have three daughters (Sophia, Olivia, & Ava).
Hulet is the founder and President of the WorkSafe Pediatric Therapy Group - Children’s Discovery Center. The therapy practice provides early intervention pediatric occupational and physical therapy services to developmentally delayed, neurologically impaired infants and children. Additionally, Hulet spends many Saturdays consulting and completing Discovery Evaluations / Consultations to the parents of brain-injured children.
Hulet is a 1993 graduate of the Medical College of Georgia Occupational Therapy program and a 2003 graduate of Brenau University where he gained a Master’s degree in Healthcare Business Administration. He is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, the Georgia Occupational Therapy Association, and the International Association of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.

Biography: Michael Price, OTR
Mike is the cofounder and CIO (Chief Information Officer) for Rehabmart.com and CPdiscovery.com. Mike is a 1993 graduate of the Medical College of Georgia Occupational Therapy program and he is an experienced programmer / website developer. Mike spends his time creating e-commerce solutions and managing content development for Rehabmart and CPdiscovery. Being originally trained as an Occupational Therapist, Mike is passionate about connecting the disabled and others who experience unique daily challenges with technological solutions and online content. He strives to create technology which empowers the individual to make choices which improves health and functional independence in their daily lives.
