This isn't your usual training gear!
7 year old, Mason, who has Cerebral Palsy, puts on the TheraSuit for treatment. CP makes his muscles weak and bungee mechanisms, which are part of the suit, are tightened to simulate how it feels to stand straight and strong.
Mason has been undergoing the therapy and it's worked so well for him... he can now walk unassisted.
Luke's family hopes to see the same results. There are clinics around the country that offer this type of therapy. In this report, you'll see one in Cincinnati that lasts three weeks. Then, parents are given an at-home program to follow.
The therapy costs about $5000 in this particular clinic and insurance may cover parts of it.
